Inspired by her grandmother, Joan H. Walker — one of the Coachella Valley’s early pioneers in professional home care — Mandy carries forward a family legacy of service with a fresh, hands-on approach. She’s not just running a business; she’s cultivating a community of caregivers who feel supported, respected, and proud of the difference they make every day.
Mandy knows quality care doesn’t happen by accident. That’s why she’s committed to hiring selectively, training thoroughly, and creating an environment where team members are empowered to grow. Through years of thoughtful leadership and deep local ties, she’s made CCS one of the most trusted home care agencies in the region — and one of the most rewarding places to work in the field.
Her work extends beyond the agency. As a former President of Aging Community Team, Mandy has helped fund scholarships for aspiring healthcare workers right here in the Valley, many of whom have gone on to join CCS or serve the community in meaningful ways. She’s also a strong advocate for raising standards in the caregiving industry — from better training and accountability to career pathways that give caregivers room to grow.
Though Custom Care Solutions is family-owned, its success has always been about the people who make it possible — especially the caregivers. Mandy leads with humility and gratitude, recognizing that every team member plays a vital role in the lives of the families they serve.
Over time, her own family has become part of that mission. Her father, after a career in music, joined the agency full-time and helped co-found Alzheimer’s Coachella Valley, a nonprofit now serving thousands of local families. Mandy’s son, the fourth generation, brings modern expertise in cybersecurity to help strengthen CCS systems while honoring the agency’s core values.
